Tata Harper the 411 on her Nontoxic products

Tata Harper Product Review
Here is the 411 on Tata Harper...............
She is originally form Columbia. Her father got sick from cancer and the doctor asked to see all his cosmetic and grooming products. When he brought them in for the doctor to review he identified some key ingredients in the products that he was using that were known to cause cancer. Tata was with her father and thought of making her own line that was good for people, had no chemicals and had results.  Now she has a farm in Vermont where she grows all the flowers and herbs for her organic skin care line and produces it onsite as well.  It is so pure that most of her products only have a 6 month shelf life.  I met Tata Harper in Santa Monica and she told me this story herself.
Posted in the photos are 3 of her products that I love and want to share with you. The bottle on the left is Aromatic Bedtime treatment and on the right is Aromatic Stress Treatment. They are both aromatherapy oils that totally transform your mood the moment that you inhale a couple of deep breaths. How to use this is product is to rub the oil all over the palm of your hands and then take 10 deep inhales. The olfactory system definitely is working when you do this and it sends signals to your brain to relax. Aromatic Bedtime contains a mixture of Lavender, Clary sage and Mandarin oils. Aromatic Stress contains Rose, Neroli and Frankincense  It's truly amazes me that plants can have such a positive effect on our moods. The last bottle is Replenishing Nutrient Complex. This is actual part of the skin care routine and can be used morning or night. ( But I only use at night) Just a fun tip: In Europe oils are used way more frequently in skin care systems( not so much in America). It has Rose Geranium, Borge oil and Alfalfa Extract. Think of this product as a multivitamin for your skin. So even though we may have the most amazing skin care line on our skin, if we don't drink enough water it wont really matter:) Look forward to another post tomorrow:)
TATA for now....................................:)

Day 2 : Want to start a blog !!!!!! Read this post for helpful tips

Day 2: Reaching out to people in the field that you want to be in and asking for their valuable experience and advise......... I recently reached out to my favorite blogger and asked her what she thinks was the reasons for her success and what advice could she offer me starting out. Her response was so warm, clear and to the point. This really has helped me in creating a vision and action plan for my blogging. Wanted to share this to anyone who maybe stuck with the idea and dream in their head to actually taking some sort of action because you are overwhelmed where to start. That's where I was !!!! Hope this helps shed some light:) This was her response: Hi Callie!   My advice is to not worry about the end result and just do/make/post/share what is most interesting to you. When I started the blog, I had no idea it would lead to a book- I was just having fun with it, and I think that sort of came across to people and made it more fun an approachable to follow. Focus...

Welcome to Beauty 4 Peace

Today is the beginning of a path toward beauty with passion, integrity and a sense of mission .  My mission statement: "I will bridge the gap between peace, elegance, beauty, nature and science. Leading the industry with integrity and a passion for beauty." My name is Callie and I live in LA with my husband. My passion for beauty began when I used to watch my mother pile on Chanel in her bathroom  (which looked more like a cosmetic counter in Nordstrom:)) when I was about 5 years old. This inspired me to unlock my inner artist and try playing with makeup. When I was only 10 years old and my grandmother took me to the Lancome counter and bought me my first full regime of skincare. Cleansing, Toning and Moisturizing has been ingrained in me similarly to the way the brushing your teeth and doing your homework was to most of my friends. My first job in the industry was at Lancome in Macy's when I was 15 years old. ( I don't think that it was ...

Spa Review: Santa Monica Willow Spa

I took this photo at the Botanical Gardens in Denver CO.  Today I am really excited to be attending a once a year event at my favorite spa in Santa Monica Willow Spa!  I used to live right across the street from this place for years and only discovered it once I was moving. This spa offers an exclusive treatment that no one else offers in LA called a  Japaneses Enzyme Bath.  When you arrive to Willow  it is as though you have entered a portal that leads you to a tropical garden in Hawaii or Thailand. There is a waterfall and plumeria trees and the house looks like a Hawaiian Tree House:). Converting this house into a spa has given it a sense of  warmth. I had to book this treatment because I was so intrigued. When I  arrived  I was shown to the back where they have you change into your robe and give you a enzyme drink ( that tastes like honey and I think it is a Japanese brand that is supposed to add with digestion) and some ginger t...
