My Favorite Summer Essentials for 2014

Ladies summer is right on the horizon and I wanted to share with you my must haves for the season.....................
My husband is responsible for getting me seriously addicted to Library of Flowers True Vanilla Body Wash. Recently the heat wave has been so intense that taking a nice cool shower with this amazing aromatherapy body wash is great and also a wonderful way to moderate your body temperature.
If you have not already been introduced to BY TERRY this line is luxury with the price tag to match. Here is a Sun booster Serum that acts as a self tanner over time for those of us who don't like sitting under the summer rays. The Hot Pink nail polish you can get at Whole Foods and what I love these days are nail polishes that don't have all the bad stuff in them. Also check out Pacifica they just launched a new nail polish line. My must have # 1 is Hourglass lip color in Fever.  This lipstick is infused with coconut oil and is so rich in color and moisture. Last but not least Desert Essence Smooth and Shine cream. The scent of coconut takes you away to a tropical island in one wiff and also tames down all those baby fly away hairs that happen with the humidity. So Ladies here are my favs , " What are yours?". Please post a comment and I would love to learn from you what you like out there for summer. Thanks talk to you soon!

Day 2 : Want to start a blog !!!!!! Read this post for helpful tips

Day 2: Reaching out to people in the field that you want to be in and asking for their valuable experience and advise......... I recently reached out to my favorite blogger and asked her what she thinks was the reasons for her success and what advice could she offer me starting out. Her response was so warm, clear and to the point. This really has helped me in creating a vision and action plan for my blogging. Wanted to share this to anyone who maybe stuck with the idea and dream in their head to actually taking some sort of action because you are overwhelmed where to start. That's where I was !!!! Hope this helps shed some light:) This was her response: Hi Callie!   My advice is to not worry about the end result and just do/make/post/share what is most interesting to you. When I started the blog, I had no idea it would lead to a book- I was just having fun with it, and I think that sort of came across to people and made it more fun an approachable to follow. Focus...

Welcome to Beauty 4 Peace

Today is the beginning of a path toward beauty with passion, integrity and a sense of mission .  My mission statement: "I will bridge the gap between peace, elegance, beauty, nature and science. Leading the industry with integrity and a passion for beauty." My name is Callie and I live in LA with my husband. My passion for beauty began when I used to watch my mother pile on Chanel in her bathroom  (which looked more like a cosmetic counter in Nordstrom:)) when I was about 5 years old. This inspired me to unlock my inner artist and try playing with makeup. When I was only 10 years old and my grandmother took me to the Lancome counter and bought me my first full regime of skincare. Cleansing, Toning and Moisturizing has been ingrained in me similarly to the way the brushing your teeth and doing your homework was to most of my friends. My first job in the industry was at Lancome in Macy's when I was 15 years old. ( I don't think that it was ...

Spa Review: Santa Monica Willow Spa

I took this photo at the Botanical Gardens in Denver CO.  Today I am really excited to be attending a once a year event at my favorite spa in Santa Monica Willow Spa!  I used to live right across the street from this place for years and only discovered it once I was moving. This spa offers an exclusive treatment that no one else offers in LA called a  Japaneses Enzyme Bath.  When you arrive to Willow  it is as though you have entered a portal that leads you to a tropical garden in Hawaii or Thailand. There is a waterfall and plumeria trees and the house looks like a Hawaiian Tree House:). Converting this house into a spa has given it a sense of  warmth. I had to book this treatment because I was so intrigued. When I  arrived  I was shown to the back where they have you change into your robe and give you a enzyme drink ( that tastes like honey and I think it is a Japanese brand that is supposed to add with digestion) and some ginger t...
